摘要 PURPOSE: A water cooling type collector head having less Joule heating and enabling stable high current conduction is provided to enable electroplating of high efficiency to be made by reducing contact resistance generated between bearing part and metal rings of the collector head, thereby suppressing Joule heating to the utmost. CONSTITUTION: The water cooling type collector head having less Joule heating and enabling stable high current conduction includes an intermediate metal ring(2) and an outer metal ring(3) tapered and oppositely connected to a bearing part(1) of rotating conductor roll; brush units(4,5,6) comprising a brush holder(4) contacted with the outer metal ring(3), a series of brushes(5) pressed by a certain pressure of spring so that the brushes(5) are contacted with the inner part of the brush holder(4), and brush holder bars(6) electrically connected to the brushes(5); a booth bar(10) contacted with the brush units(4,5,6) to supply current required for electroplating through sealing cases(7,8,9) of the outside; and a cooling water supply and recovery pipe(12) formed on upper and lower parts of the outer sealing cases(7,8,9,11) for housing the outer metal ring(3) and brush units(4,5,6).
