APPARATUS FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE OF STRIP

PURPOSE: A temperature measuring apparatus for a strip is provided to prevent a thickness deviation of the strip by measuring a temperature in each part of the strip through directly making contact with the strip. CONSTITUTION: A strip temperature measuring apparatus includes a transfer car frame capable of moving back and forth. A pair of cylinders is symmetrically installed at each end portion of the transfer car frame in such a manner that the cylinders are moved up and down with respect to a strip(20). A pair of cylindrical rolls(3,3a) is fixed to hollow shafts(2). A pair of thermocouples(4,5) is attached to outer peripheral portions of the cylindrical rolls(3,3a). A heater(8) is provided to pre-heat the thermocouples(4,5) up to 800°C. A sheath K-type thermocouple(9) is arranged adjacent to the thermocouples(4,5).
