PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for underground decontamination by which a treating period can be shortened and treating cost can be reduced and to provide an engineering method for underground decontamination. SOLUTION: The structure for underground decontamination in a polluted ground region 3 surrounded by a cutoff 2 is provided with water injecting wells 4 which are dispersedly disposed in the polluted ground region 3, a pump equipment 5 which is disposed at a central part of the polluted ground region 3 and pumps up polluted underground water and returns it into the water injecting wells 4 and water-permeable decontaminating walls 6 which are disposed between the pumping facilities 5 and the water injecting wells 4 so as to surround the pumping facilities 5 and which remove pollutants contained in the underground water by decontamination treatment of the underground water flowing into the pumping facilities 5.
