PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element carriage and classification apparatus that is capable of properly performing the classification working of an element. SOLUTION: The element carriage and classification apparatus transfers the element t on a carriage passage 221 and carries the element t on the carriage passage 221 of the supply means 2 under sucked and retained condition by means of the retention means 12 from the upper part of the carriage passage 221 and inspects with an inspection device 3 and then releases the suction of the element t by the retention means 12 by means of the suction release means 4. The suction released element t by the retention means 12 by means of the suction release means 4 is classified to store it in the storing part 5 in accordance with the inspection result by the apparatus 3. The supply means 2 vibrates the carriage passage 221 on which the element t is loaded and transfers the element t on the carriage passage 221 to supply the element t to the suction position for sucking and retaining the element t by the retention means 12.
