METHOD FOR RECOVERING POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering a polymer such as polyarylene obtained by coupling polymerization reaction using a metallic reducing agent from the polymer-containing polymerization solution at a high recovery rate. SOLUTION: This polymer recovering method comprises a step to filter the polymerization solution containing the polymer obtained by the coupling polymerization reaction using the metallic reducing agent, a step to mix the obtained filtrate with a lower alcohol and precipitate the polymer and a step to recover the obtained precipitate.
