PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop the creativity of a player by increasing the number of combination of various patterns to a maximum by providing the variable locations of puzzle pieces with a high degree of freedom. SOLUTION: On a game bottom panel 2 having erected edge frames 3 and longitudinally and laterally arrayed rectangular squares, puzzle pieces 1 having the form of a right triangle, having rounded portions 1a formed at its corners and corresponding to the half of one square are provided so that the pieces can freely slide longitudinally, laterally and obliquely by utilizing a space P formed by removing one square. The puzzle pieces 1 have four colors, namely yellow (Y), red (R), white (W) and blue (B), and two of the pieces are located in each of 4×4=16 squares on the game bottom panel 2. A plurality of puzzle pieces 1 in the respective colors are arranged tightly on the game bottom panel 2 and various kinds of color patterns can be expressed by freely sliding the pieces longitudinally, laterally and obliquely by utilizing the space P formed by removing one square occupied by two puzzle pieces 1.
