PURPOSE: An apparatus for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to promptly complete a scribing process and a breaking process to cut a glass substrate, thereby improving the productivity. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of scribers(103) are connected with a driving shaft(101) rotated by a motor in a row for scribing a glass substrate(102) having a plurality of cells in one direction in a lump. A plurality of breaking bars(104) divide the scribed glass substrate in one direction in a lump to give a shock to the scribed surface of the glass substrate. The scribers and the breaking bars have supports for supporting the glass substrate respectively.
