PURPOSE: A method for providing estimate talk time information of a mobile communication terminal is provided to use effectively a battery by showing a user an estimate talk time at every call connection. CONSTITUTION: When a terminal enters a call mode, total current capacity consumed within unit time is measured and set as a TL(Talk Load)(S211,S212). A battery RC(Remaining Capacity) is calculated(S213). The RC is divided by the TL to obtain an estimate TT(Talk Time)(S214). The obtained estimate TT is displayed on a screen of the terminal(S215). Measurement of the TL and the RC, and calculating and outputting of the TT on the basis of the TL and RC are repeatedly performed for every predetermined period(S216,S217).
