PURPOSE: A device for removing slag from an electrode and polishing the electrode is provided to prevent the fracture of a welding point by removing slag from the electrode and precisely polishing the electrode in welding work. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal moving unit is fixed on a welder, and moves two square guides(60) right and left along rails. A vertical moving unit is fixed on the square guides, and moves a moving plate(37) mounted with the center groove of a body(38) up and down. A measuring unit is installed at a fixed stand(56) fixed on the moving plate, and measures the surface roughness of an electrode. A polishing unit is installed between two guide plates(33) fixed on the moving plate, and polishes the surface of the electrode. A removing unit is installed at a double supporting plate coupled with a square connecting stand(19), and removes slag from the electrode. A cleaning unit is installed at an L-shaped support fixed on the removing unit, and cleans the electrode.
