PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a ring-shaped product capable of improving a die life and the yield of material, shortening processes and reducing the cost of manufacturing, and obtaining the ring-shaped product with good quality. SOLUTION: In the method, the ring-shaped material 1 is subjected to forging, and the intermediate product 2 having a ring-shaped base 20, a ring-shaped diameter-extended part 21 which ranges with the edge surface of the axis direction of the base in the axis direction and comprises a thick part 21a and a thin part 21b having the almost same outer diameter d3 as the outer diameter D of the ring-shaped material 1, and a projecting part 22 projected from the inner circumference surface of the diameter-extended part to the direction of the center is formed, and then, the diameter-extended part 21 of the intermediate product 2 is cut and removed by machining, and the ring-shaped product 3 having the base 20 and the projecting part 22 projected from the edge surface in the axial direction to the axial direction is manufactured.
