<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact material for decontamination which can stick and rear aquatic plants and microorganisms by utilizing dredged sludge as a raw material and to provide its manufacturing method and a method for decontaminating a harbor, a lake, a marsh or the like by utilizing the contact material for decontamination. <P>SOLUTION: A slightly alkaline heat resistant coagulant is added to the dredged and recovered sludge and the mixture is kneaded, is formed to a granular shape or a block shape and then is dried and calcined. Thereby the porous contact material which is slightly alkaline, has strength of being not crushed in the contaminated water and is suitable for adhering and glowing aquatic lives and microorganisms, is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
