METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING WASTE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste in fermentation equipment which restrains the generation of a nasty smell to the utmost and is cleaned easily and to provide a waste treating apparatus.

SOLUTION: When a garbage collection struck 6 arrives at a pit 7, a shutter 10 is opened and garbage or the like is thrown into a bucket 9 from the truck 6. The pressure inside a building 2 is kept lower than the atmospheric pressure by driving a ventilation windmill 11 so that the nasty smell is not leaked from the building 2 even when the shutter 10 is opened. The bucket 9 is conveyed upward by a bucket elevator 4. The garbage or the like in the bucket 9 is thrown into a feeding port of a unit 5 for recycling garbage as resources and fermented in the unit 5. The fermentation is continuously carried out stably by adjusting the operating speed of the unit 5 even when the amount of garbage to be carried is fluctuated.
