PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional technology and to provide a machining shape plotting device in which a machining shape by a punch press can be surely and simulatively displayed before actual machining. SOLUTION: The machining shape plotting device has a numerical control data storage part to store numerical control data for a numerical controller to control the operation of the punch press, a mounting tool data storage part to store mounting tool data like a cross sectional shape of a mounting tool or a mounting die mounted to the punch press, a machining shape data generating module to generate machining shape data formed on a work by the mounting tool based on the numerical control data from the numerical control data storage part and the mounting tool data from the mounting tool data storage part, and a display device to display a tool machining shape formed on the work based on the tool machining shape data generated by the machining shape data generating module.
