PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve seat cutting tool, which easily prevents deterioration of machining accuracy. SOLUTION: A slanting T-slot 60 is formed in a tool holder 40. A slider 80 having a slanting portion 82 of inverted T shape cross section is slidably fitted in the T-slot 60. Movement of the slider along the slanting T-slot is allowed by a Z shape push member 90 for pushing arm portions 86 of the slider toward the bottom face 64 of the slanting T-slot, but the movement of the slider in other directions is prevented. If sliding faces of the slider and the slanting T-slot have been worn, occurrence of chatter is prevented by pushing the push member against the bottom face of the slanting T-slot by means of bolts 106 and disc springs 110.
