PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect such a defect in conventional sequential forming as a working scratch, a wave in a moving direction and the like by friction, which are caused by a rod-like pressing member pressed and moved against the surface of a plate. SOLUTION: The downward pressing member 11 formed as a male die is arranged below a transversely placed plate 13 freely movably in directions. The rod-like upward pressing member 17 is arranged freely movably above the plate 13 in three orthogonal directions of vertical, horizontal and longitudinal ones. Firstly, the plate is predraw-formed by lifting the downward pressing member 11 and then detail parts are formed by lowering the upward pressing member 17 and moving its end while pushing it against the plate 13. In this work, no defect such as a machining scratch or a wave in the moving direction is left on the plate 13 side by pressing and moving the upward pressing member 17 with small vibrations in two or three of vertical, horizontal and longitudinal directions.
