PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for descending which can show its function even at a not so high place, which can simply be used and which can relieve some fear. SOLUTION: The apparatus for descending is provided with an edge member 2 which is foldable against its own elastic force and can be restored to be annular according to the elastic force, a sheet 1 capable of receiving the resistance of air, and a human body holding part 3 as a heavy weight holding part capable of holding a human body. The edge member 2 is fixed to the edge part 1a of the sheet 2, and the edge member 2 and the human body holding part 3 are fixed with a wire 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
