PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a diaper from moving out of place when wearing it by securing a side part of the waistline through improving a structure to place elastically expanding members. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper is provided with fastening tapes 8, 8 attachable to and detachable from prescribed positions of a front waistline part 5 at both right and left end parts 6a, 6a of a back waistline part 6. Placement of a plurality of elastically expanding members 12, 12... expanding in the widthwise direction in all areas of the back waistline part 6 allows the back waist line part 6 to be secured to the whole side part of the waistline and prevents the diaper from moving out of place completely when wearing it.
