PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable insect trap having increased insect-capturing performance by giving the function that can suitably adjust the cross section of the adhesive face for increasing the adhesive-coated faces not only flat faces but also various kinds of cross sections, e.g. gaps, right-angle corners, circular arc parts to increase the adhesion of the adhesive layer to the insects in a portable insect trap that traps insects by sticking insects to the face coated with the adhesive. SOLUTION: A folding line (2) is formed on the plate (3) having adhesion face (1) formed. The number, position and the angle of the folding lines (2) are suitably set so as to resemble the surface shape of the insects stuck. A handle (4) is provided on the back face of the plate (on the opposite side of the adhesive face) in order to smoothly transmit the force and finely adjust the angle, when the adhesive face is pressed to the insect.
