THERMOPLASTIC SHEATH-CORE TYPE CONJUGATE FIBER AND NON-WOVEN FABRIC MANUFACTURED OUT OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: Thermoplastic sheath-core type conjugate fiber and non-woven fabric manufactured out of the same are characterized by having excellent shape stability, strength and tear resistance, increasing permeability and being economical. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic conjugate fiber is comprised of 40-90pts.wt. of a core ingredient and 60-10pts.wt. of a sheath ingredient. The sheath ingredient is obtained by co-polymerizing 70-98pts.wt. of polyethylene terephthalate and 30-2pts.wt. of adipic acid. The non-woven fabric is obtained by the steps of: opening the thermoplastic conjugate fiber to form web; and then thermal-bonding the web.
