PURPOSE: An edge cutting apparatus is provided to prevent an end mark from being created on a front end of a strip by controlling an incline angle and a grinding degree depending on thickness of the front end of the strip. CONSTITUTION: An edge cutting apparatus includes an end supporting section, a grinding section and a grinding angle adjusting section. The end supporting section has an end supporting plate(205), a base(202) for fixing a strip end(104), and an end clamp(201). The grinding section has a plurality of end mills(301) for grinding the strip end(104), an end mill holder(302) for fixing each end mill, and a driving motor(307) for driving the end mills(301). The grinding angle adjusting section has a cutting angle adjusting motor(402), a ring plate(405) being in contact with the cutting angle adjusting motor(402), an angle adjusting guide(404) installed in the ring plate(405), and a cutting angle keeping cylinder(401).
