PURPOSE: A multipurpose apparatus for blowing gas during tapping of converter is provided to dispersingly inject ferro alloy during tapping of converter, blow nitrogen and oxygen into molten steel of teeming ladle and bubble molten steel in the teeming ladle as occasion demands. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus includes a lance(52) which is connected to shovel chute by front coupling(70), on the front part of which spray nozzle(51) is mounted, and on the rear part of which flexible hose(55) for supplying gas is mounted; a cylinder(54) connected to the lance(52) by rear coupling(71); a cylinder crank shaft(53) mounted on the front part of the cylinder(54) and connected to the hose(55); and a solenoid valve(56) for operating the cylinder crank shaft(53), wherein a certain part of the lance(52) is covered with an outer skin of refractory material pipe(50), wherein the flexible hose(55) is connected to oxygen tank(61) and high pressure gas tank(62) by valves(58,57) respectively, and wherein the solenoid valve(56) and valves(58,57) are controlled by central control unit(60).
