PURPOSE: A thin film resin coating solution is provided which improves weldability and formability by containing a material having superior conductivity in performing coating thin film resin on strip, and a manufacturing method of thin film resin coated strip using the thin film resin coating solution is provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing thin film resin coated strip with improved weldability comprises the processes of preparing thin film resin coating solution by mixing the blended solution with pure water so that 5 to 30 wt.% of final solid content is contained in the coating solution after blending 3 to 30 weight parts of melamine resin or isocyan based hardener as solid content, 2 to 35 weight parts of conductivity improving powder and water soluble metal oxide for improving conductivity of resin coating layer, 5 to 30 weight parts of fluorine resin modified polyolefin based lubricant, polyethylene based lubricant or a mixture thereof, and 20 to 100 weight parts of aqueous silica or fumed silicate with a binder solution of modified ethylene acrylate resin; performing roll coating, spray coating or dip coating on chromate coating treated plating strip using the prepared thin film resin coating solution so that coating thickness of resin film after drying is controlled to 1 to 5 mm; bake drying the thin film resin coating solution coated strip to a strip temperature of 120 to 200 deg.C; and cooling the baked dried strip.
