APPARATUS FOR GENERATING VERTICAL SYNCHRONOUS SIGNAL OF COMPLEX SIGNAL

PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a vertical synchronous signal of a complex signal is provided to softly response and display an image to be displayed on a display monitor by preventing a free running state. CONSTITUTION: A complex signal analyzing and horizontal/vertical oscillating terminal(22) separates horizontal and vertical oscillating signals from a brightness signal applied from a complex signal input terminal(21). A synchronous signal processing terminal(23) receives and processes the horizontal and vertical oscillating signals for generating complex horizontal and vertical synchronous signals. The synchronous signal processing terminal receives a VGA(Video Graphics Array) horizontal synchronous signal and a VGA vertical synchronous signal for selectively outputting the signals. A microcomputer(24) senses the existence of the synchronous signals applied to the synchronous signal processing terminal. The microcomputer determines resolution and frequency according to the sensed synchronous signals for outputting horizontal and vertical output signals to be applied to a deflecting circuit terminal(25) to generate horizontal and vertical sawtooth waves to a deflecting yoke. The microcomputer outputs a selecting signal for the complex signal and a VGA video signal.
