CYLINDRICAL DRUM FLANGE PROCESSING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical drum flange processing machine processing a notch area on both ends of the cylindrical drum with excellent positional accuracy, for achieving a photoreceptor drum unit which can smoothly be driven with less load fluctuation to obtain a clear image free from severe picture distortion.

SOLUTION: The processing machine simultaneously can process notches on both ends of the cylindrical drum by integrally holding punch and a dice to enhance the positional accuracy of them. Additionally the dice is provided on the side face of a cast fitting with the inner face of the photoreceptor drum to set the blade of the punch to the same curvature as that of the cylindrical drum outer diameter, allowing a dice holding member integrally holding both the punch and the dice to slide.
