ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good image data without distortions in the field of celomic ultrasonic diagnosis even when a three-dimensional ultrasonic image of a tumor- containing tissue is displayed.

SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic equipment is equipped with plural ultrasonic oscillators arranged in a circular fashion centering an insertion axis on a certain position of the insertion axis. The equipment is further provided with an electronic radial type ultrasonic probe which transmits and receives ultrasonic waves from plural ultrasonic oscillators and performs an electronic radial type scanning on a surface perpendicular to the insertion axis, and a voxel data producing means which produces voxel data based on the ultrasonic tomogram data obtained successively in echo signals through the electronic radial type scanning of the electronic radial type ultrasonic probe.
