PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a washing effect in a washing machine performing hot water washing. SOLUTION: In a hot water washing operation, after heating washing water to 40°C (first water temperature) and performing soak washing, the water is discharged and supplied again, the washing water is heated to 60°C (second water temperature), high temperature washing is performed, an operation of cooling the washing water is performed thereafter and the water is discharged. Thus, since the hot water washing operation is performed twice, the washing effect is improved compared to the case of performing the hot water washing operation only once.
