PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressing die which is the most suitable for a large-item small-scale production system especially used for a metal press. SOLUTION: The pressing die is provided with an upper die holder 1 having a shank 2, a lower die holder 3, an upper die 4, and a lower die 5. The upper die 4 is provided in a freely attachable/detachable fashion at the lower part of the upper die holder 1. The lower die 5 confronting to the upper die 4 is provided in a freely attachable/detachable fashion at the upper part of the lower die holder 3. The upper die 4 and the lower die 5 are made to be selectively exchangeable to the upper die holder 1 and the lower die holder 3 and the upper die holder 1 having the shank 2 and the lower die holder 3 are used as a common member for pressing in the large-item small-scale production. The exchange work of the upper die 4 and the lower die 5 to the upper die holder 1 and the lower die holder 3 can be executed simply and press molding for the production in a multiple kind and the pressing die can easily cope with the large-item small-scale production.
