PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous ceramics hollow fiber membrane module capable of satisfactorily attaining easiness of manufacture and reproducibility of airtightness. SOLUTION: The porous ceramics hollow fiber membrane module is obtained by inserting a group of porous ceramics hollow fiber membranes into the through holes in flat plates fitted into end parts of a bundling tube, fixing the group with a binder and coating the gap between the group and each of the flat plates and the gap between each of the flat plates and the bundling tube with a glass material. When the surface open area ratio of the terminal binder contact parts of the porous ceramics hollow fiber membranes of the membrane module is adjusted to≤7% and a group of hollow fiber membranes whose parts to be bound are densified are bound in the bundling tube to obtain a porous ceramics hollow fiber membrane module, even airtightness at a high temperature is satisfactorily ensured. The pierced bottom plates of bottomed cylindrical bundling members joined to the end faces of the bundling tube are preferably used as the pierced flat plates fitted into the end parts of the bundling tube.
