PURPOSE: A video system for monitoring a vehicle accident is provided to store vehicle operation states in a motion picture database in real time to obtain objective data used when an accident occurs. CONSTITUTION: A video system for monitoring a vehicle accident includes a monitoring camera(10), a starting sensor(20), a main server(30), and an interface(40). The monitoring camera is attached to the back side of a room mirror of a vehicle and photographs the area in front of the vehicle. The starting sensor is connected to a starting motor of the vehicle to operate the monitoring camera when the starting motor is operated. The main server has a motion picture database(31) and a customer database(32). The interface connects the monitoring camera to the main server.
