PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing a mild cigarette emitting far infrared rays by depositing elvan powder or tourmaline powder on dried tobacco leaves to reduce harmfulness of cigarette. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a mild cigarette emitting far infrared rays includes the steps of depositing elvan powder or tourmaline powder on dried tobacco leaves and drying the lives, followed by cutting and processing. The used amount of elvan powder is 50 wt% and the used amount of tourmaline powder is 50 wt%. Also, extract of elem tree root, aloe extract, Chinese matrimony vine extracts, ginseng extract and other incenses such as menthol, rose, balloon flower and maximowiczia chinesis are added to the cigarette.
