PURPOSE: An automatic binding apparatus for a coil is provided to transport coil products actively, and to prevent accidents of workers by binding the coil product firmly and promptly without manual operation in packing. CONSTITUTION: An automatic binding system comprises a frame part having first and second main shafts(24a,24b) rotated and installed in a frame(22) moving back and forth at both sides of a coil product of a lifting machine; a first binding part(40) having a first band guide plate(44) installed in a first base(42) fixed horizontally in the front of the first main shaft, and a guide plate(48) guiding tightening of the coil of a band passing the guide plate by a cylinder(46) installed in the first base; and a second binding part(70) having a welding machine(76) and a band feeder(78) moving back and forth in upper and lower parts of the base, and a band dispenser(80) installed in the rear part of the second base to supply the band to the guide plate. The productivity is increased, and accidents are prevented by binding the product automatically and promptly.
