PURPOSE: A ventilation hooded microwave oven is provided to allow for simplicity of configuration by arranging a single filter, while preventing contamination of electrical component chamber. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation hooded microwave oven comprises a heating chamber(10) for heating foodstuff; an exhaust motor assembly(20) mounted on the rear end of the top of the heating chamber, and which has a pair of left and right fans(20a,20b); a single filter(22) mounted at the bottom of the microwave oven spaced apart from the bottom of the heating chamber; and an electrical component chamber(14) having a height similar to the height of the exhaust motor, and which is communicated to the front portion of the microwave oven through a front grille having an air vent. The outdoor air introduced through the filter flows upward through the space formed between the outer casing and the heating chamber, passes through the exhaust motor assembly and is exhausted by the left fan of the exhaust motor assembly. The outdoor air introduced into the electrical component chamber through the front grille passes through the exhaust motor assembly and is exhausted to outside by the right fan of the exhaust motor assembly.
