PURPOSE: A plural additional data settable printer, and its printing method are provided to make it possible setting plural additional data, e.g., a watermark, on each page of a document constructed by a user. CONSTITUTION: The printer(200) comprises an interface(21), a printing module(23), and a controller(25). The interface(21) receives printing data, plural additional data, and user selection data from a host system(100). The plural additional data are added to the printing data when the printing data is printed at the printing module(23). The user selection data determines how the plural additional data is printed on pages with the printing data at the printing module(23). The printing module(23) prints the printing data and the plural additional data under a control of the controller(25). The controller(25) controls the printing module(23) to print the plural additional data on each page in a case that the user selection data includes the printing of the plural additional data on each page.
