PURPOSE: A fire extinguishing device for vehicles is provided to minimize loss of lives and damage of the vehicles by rapidly extinguishing fire. CONSTITUTION: The fire extinguishing device for a vehicle comprises a temperature sensor(40) for detecting indoor temperature of the vehicle, an air duct(70) connected to an air conditioning unit(60) having a blow fan(61) and having branched outlets communicating with the interior space of the vehicle, a fire extinguishing material storage tank(50) connected to the air duct through a discharge pipe(51), and an electronic control unit(90) for driving the blow fan and opening a solenoid valve(80) for extinguishing fire when the indoor temperature exceeds a critical temperature.
