RECLAIMER BELT CONVEYOR TENSION-AUTOMATIC DEVICE

PURPOSE: A device for automatically adjusting tension of a reclaimer belt conveyor is provided to automatically adjust tension of the belt and to safely manage equipment by absorbing impact with a spring when weight descends. CONSTITUTION: A device for automatically adjusting tension of a reclaimer belt conveyor comprises a central material(1) fixed to a belt frame; a guide bar(2) connected with the central material through a central pin(10); a vertical bar(3) metrically moving along the guide bar; a falling-preventing rod(5) combined with the lower end of the guide bar; and a pushing bar(12) disposed on the falling-preventing rod. A weight(4) and a tension pulley(9) are combined with the vertical bar. In the pushing bar, a side end is fixed to the lower end of a guide part and the other side end has a tough bar(14) to contact with a sensor(15), passing through a groove formed to the lower end of the other guide part. A skirt(6) is disposed over the upper side of a tension pulley of the vertical bar. The pushing bar has a feldspar(13) installed in the middle part, and the pushing bar is supported by a spring(11). The device absorbs vibration of equipment and thus, belt tension is automatically kept proper.
