PURPOSE: A system for optimizing target temperature of slab discharged from reheating furnace is provided to automatically calculate the target temperature of slab according to process change by applying operation information of rolling process. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a learning data collection part(100) for collecting actual results of past data required for developing model of a slab passing through rolling process after being discharged from the reheating furnace; a predicted data collection part(300) for calculating rolling process related set values at a time point when combination is completed and calculating a target initial discharge temperature by look-up table method; and a target discharge temperature calculation part(200) for obtaining neural network model capable of obtaining the optimum solution through the actual results of past data collected in the learning data collection part and calculating the optimum target discharge temperature by applying predicted rolling operation information data including the target initial discharge temperature provided from the predicted data collection part to the optimum solution model obtained accordingly, wherein the target discharge temperature calculation part(200) comprises telecommunication interface module(210), data manager module(220), neural network module(230) and database(240).
