RUBBING MACHINE OF LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY ADDED WITH FUNCTION OF REARRANGING RUBBING FABRIC AND RUBBING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A rubbing machine of a liquid crystal display added with a function of rearranging a rubbing fabric and a rubbing method using the same are provided to prevent the quality of a picture from deteriorating due to ununiformity of the rubbing fabric and extend the expected life span of the rubbing fabric. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of test substrates for rearrangement are placed every other mass-produced substrates to rearrange a rubbing fabric(35). A rubbing roller(30) with the rubbing fabric passes on the substrates at a certain pressure while rotating. The area where the rubbing fabric touches with the substrate is a part of the rubbing roller, so that rearrangement of the rubbing fabric is realized at the rest of the part. A rearranging part(37a,37b) formed in a pad shape or an arc shape is attached to the part of the rubbing roller to contact with the rubbing roller.
