<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a processing efficiency by automatically replacing a lens matched to processing conditions without stopping a machine in a laser processing machine, and to improve a cooling efficiency by shortening a set-up time, enabling schedule processing of works under different processing conditions and automatically replacing a cooling water passage when the lens is automatically replaced. <P>SOLUTION: The lens automatic replacing apparatus for the laser processing machine comprises a slider 3 disposed in a processing head body 2 and moving in vertical or lateral direction, a lens holder 4 disposed in the slider 3, moving in a lateral or vertical direction for holding a plurality of condenser lenses 5, 6 having different focal lengths f1, f2, and a condenser lens automatic replacing controller 50D for selecting a predetermined condenser lens 5 or 6 from the plurality of the lenses 5, 6 based on a processing conditions of the work W, controlling to move the holder 4 and the slider 3 to optically axially align and focus the selected predetermined lens 5 or 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
