PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal plate bearing designed coating with clear contrast between projecting parts and recessed parts by adjusting the viscosity of a coating for printed designed patterns. SOLUTION: The metal plate bearing a designed coating and giving uneven impression is obtained by forming designed patterns on a monochromatic base coated metal plate by a flexo printing roll and the height of projecting designed pattern parts is obtained by carrying out printing (coating) with a coating whose viscosity is adjusted to be 400-600 second (Ford cup #4) by adding a wax to a polyester resin-based coating for designed patterns.
