PURPOSE: Provided are an apparatus and a method for extraction of fly ash available for analyzing non-combustible carbon by using cyclone to directly extract the fly ash among exhaust gas discharged from exhaust ducts of any coal fired boiler. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a housing(200), an exhaust duct(120), a sampling probe(210), a transfer pipe(220), a cyclone(230), a capturing bottle(232), exhaust pipes(240,242), a flow controller valve(244) for exhaust gas, a condensed water valve(246), a vacuum generating part(250), a vacuum on/off valve(252), a ventilation pipe(260) for introducing fresh air to remove residual fly ash in respective parts(252,220,230,240,242), a flushing valve(262) to control amount of the fresh air, an electric heating part(270) to keep temperature of respective parts(210,220,230) in desired level higher than 100 deg.C and a power supply(280). |
