Manual command means for executing the functions of an electronic watch

Device comprises a number of touch sensitive sensors (C1-C3) arranged above or below the watch face each with a sensitive zone. The watch has two operation modes. In the first, at least two sensors are grouped so that the electronic circuit executes the same operation when a finger is placed on the face in either of the sensor's sensitive zones. In the second mode each sensor commands a separate function. <??>An Independent claim is made for an electronic watch with a liquid crystal display (5, 6) and touch sensitive zones corresponding to command input sensors. The zones are arranged so that data can still be seen on the display during activation of the sensors by a user finger. Optimally there are seven sensors.
