PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jewel holder which enables a jewel such as diamond or ruby, to be easily held on a decoration such as a ring, a necklace. SOLUTION: A pair of holding plates made of a noble metal is formed in a V-shape in the cross-section. Grooves are equipped on positions mutually opposite on the inner wall faces of the holding plates. Decoration parts formed by extending the retaining plates are integrally equipped above the holding grooves. Girdles of a jewel are set on the holding grooves on the retaining plates and the noble metal melted at a high temperature is flowed down between the holding grooves and the girdles and cooled to fix the jewel on the retaining plates.
