PURPOSE: An optical connecting apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof and an optical focusing apparatus and an optical transferring apparatus are provided to reduce the insertion loss by symmetrically arranging two pigtails and two lenses on the centering of a filter. CONSTITUTION: A three-port optical focusing apparatus(400) comprises a ferrule(410) and an optical transmitting device(420). The ferrule(410) has a cylindrical through-hole(410a) therein. The cylindrical through-hole(410a) is formed in a longitudinal direction of the ferrule(410). The optical transmitting device(420) is comprised of three optical fibers(420a,420b,420c) passing through the cylindrical through-hole(410a). The three optical fibers(420a,420b,420c) are inserted into the cylindrical through-hole(410a). The three optical fibers(420a,420b,420c) are connected to each other.
