VOLTAGE CONTROLLED OSCILLATION CIRCUIT USING THE SECOND HARMONICS

PURPOSE: A voltage controlled oscillation circuit using the second harmonics is provided to output the second harmonics having the maximum power as the oscillation frequency by resonating half frequency of a desired frequency and tuning and amplifying the second harmonics of the resonated frequency. CONSTITUTION: A voltage controlled oscillation circuit includes a resonant circuit portion(31), an oscillation circuit portion(32), a buffer portion(33), and an output portion(34). The resonant circuit portion resonates 1/2 frequency of desired frequency by the capacitance and the inductance determined according to a tuning voltage. The oscillation circuit portion oscillates the resonant frequency by the resonant frequency of the resonant circuit portion. The buffer portion amplifies the second harmonics by forming a resonant point at the second harmonics of the oscillation frequency. The output portion outputs the amplified the second harmonics as the final oscillation frequency.
