PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to improve a focus characteristic and a voltage characteristic by changing a position of a 2-pole CY of a convergence yoke. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke includes a coil separator, a horizontal and a vertical deflection yoke, and a convergence yoke. The coil separator is formed with a neck portion(13) of a small diameter and a screen portion of a large diameter. The neck portion is coupled to an electron gun portion of a cathode ray tube. The screen portion is coupled to one side of a screen side of the cathode ray tube. The horizontal and the vertical deflection coils are installed on an inner face and an outer face of the coil separator to form the horizontal and the vertical deflection magnetic fields. The convergence yoke is inserted into an outer circumference of the coil separator. The convergence yoke includes a couple of 4-pole CYs(21) and a couple of 2-pole CYs(25). An insulating ring(23) is inserted between the 2-pole CYs and the 4-pole CYs.
