PURPOSE: A one-way clutch is provided to improve the degree of freedom for a design due to remove a concave unit to a sprag and accordingly to increase durability and reliability and expand the span. CONSTITUTION: A one-way clutch is composed of an inner wheel(51) located in the center, an outer wheel(52) forming a concentricity with the inner wheel and rotating outside, a plurality of sprags(53) installed between the inner and outer wheels to fix or release between the inner and outer wheels with having a spring inside, and a fixing ring(55) installed between sprags to fix the position of the sprags. The sprag has an inclined surface along the rotation direction of the outer wheel, the opposite side of the sprag is a rectilinear unit, and a spring installing groove for mounting the spring is formed at the lower side of the rectilinear unit.
