<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing tackle smoothly rotatable relative to a vertical line such as a main line and a snood to prevent the application of excessive force to the vertical line or a leader and, accordingly, smoothly follow the motion of a fish and prevent the breakage of the vertical line and the leader as far as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A leader supporting tool 1 to be attached to a snood A is composed of a base 2 comprising a pair of supporting arms 3, 3 connected with each other at the tip ends through a connection part and separating the base sides 3A, main line insertion holes 7 opened at the base ends 3A of the supporting arms 3 and a leader-insertion hole 8 opened on the connection part 4 in lateral direction perpendicular to the snood A. The leader-insertion hole 8 has tapered upper and lower guide faces 8A, 8A on the outer edge.
