The system scans one or more areas of the roadway and is connected to an evaluator. From the measurements obtained by the scanning system (2) the evaluator determines the angle of tilt, the torque producing the tilt, the vehicle loading condition and the condition of the roadway. For obtaining measurements related to angle of tilt and torque producing the tilt, the vehicle can have two scanning systems, one for scanning the road area on the right (4) and one on the left (3), and if it has three systems measurements can be obtained relating to the loading conditions. |
