AUTOMATIC WATER GATE SYSTEM FOR WATER LEVEL CONTROL

PURPOSE: An automatic water gate system for water level control is provided to prevent an inflow of seawater in a drainage channel by a rise in the seawater level, to protect facilities and to improve drainage efficiency by preventing submersion. CONSTITUTION: The automatic water gate system for water level control comprises a water gate body(1) operated by the seawater level, a check valve(9) installed to discharge the rainwater in a drainage channel when the water gate body(1) is closed by a rise of the seawater, an underwater pump(12) draining the rainwater of the drainage channel compulsively in emergency, and a water gauge(13) detecting the water level in the drainage channel to prevent the damage caused by submersion when a localized torrential downpour and a high tide come in succession.
