PURPOSE: Provided is a method for fabricating superconductive magnesium diboride powder using a combustion synthesis method which consumes low energy and doesn't need high cost facilities. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) mixing magnesium powder and boron powder with a mixing ratio of 1:2 to 1:4; compression molding the powder mixture at pressure between 20-100MPa, and (c) burning the power mixture in inert ambient.
